Today I saw Michelle and we spent two hours styling my wardrobe, I felt inspired by my own clothes, I have so much more to wear than i realised. The pile of clothes lapelled need to alter, charity shop, and sell , made me feel, organised and resourceful, the best bit is I can now see what my mistakes and repeat buys have been.

"I was absolutely gutted to hear that Michelle and I couldn’t go on one of our shopping trips because of Covid-19.

However, the brilliant and ever-resourceful Michelle, suggested that we have an hour long FaceTime catch up and I was (in advance) to pull clothes out of my wardrobe which I wasn’t sure about in readiness to try them on in real time, using the technology, in front of her, then have a debrief about why or why not they didn’t work. Before the session, I sent photos to Michelle of the clothes which I was going to show her on the day.

It was so lovely to see Michelle’s face and her opening comments were about my long lockdown hair and products to buy to help me out. Just what I needed. Fantastic. We chatted about all manner of current trends too (more of that, later!) which might suit me and then trying on time….! 

I then dashed in and out of another room and got changed to show Michelle, and then we chatted about them.

At one point, I was in a pair of brown leather trousers (I wasn’t sure about them), she sent me back to find shoes to try on with them to give me some height (which led to a chat about the kind of new shoes I should buy for the Summer….as I’d dragged out a tatty old pair which were the quickest and easiest to show…!) Brilliant! I ordered a fabulous pair, on-line, THAT afternoon! I now feel like I will wear the trousers with a denim shirt and other tops and will feel amazing, when I can go out! It was great too to chat about some of the other clothes I was reticent about. 

As we were chatting, Michelle sent pictures of current trends (which I would never think about to buy for myself) but these were really super food for thought. I laughed at the possibility of me in dungarees and what did I do……I bought a pair (as a result of our chat) and ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! I now absolutely live in them. 

Michelle followed up our session with a Pinterest board for me, which has been brilliant.

It’s real value for money in this time that we can’t go on our regular shopping trips and has made me feel like I’ve got some wonderful clothes to wear and I FEEL GREAT AS A RESULT. I’d love to do this four times a year (if we can’t do face to face shopping twice a year) so that I keep on trend with an injection of Michelle’s style MAGIC. Highly recommend and loved it. Using the technology was almost as good as meeting face to face. 

If you’re a new client, you might need more time in your consultation, but I guarantee that as a result, you will feel confident, stylish, fabulous and really to stylishly face the post COVID-19 world with a spring in your (fabulously styled) step and looking amazing. DO IT. "
